Our Onboarding Process occurs in three phases to ensure success - Quick Setup, Building the Foundation, and then Establishing a Rhythm. First, we will get up and running with your systems in one week. Then, we’ll perform a review of your existing accounting set up and practices and operations, and work toward improving those processes and fine-tuning accuracy. Then, we will lean into a rhythm of meetings and financial updates that works best for your needs and our partnership.

Our cloud accounting solution utilizes 3rd party cloud-based financial software. Firstly, the client must agree to use either QuickBooks Online, Xero or Sage Intacct as their main accounting system. The client must assign BBB as an administrative user to their accounting system. Our tech stack includes Bill.com for Accounts Payable, Gusto for Payroll, and Expensify for expense reporting.

We prioritize the security of your personal information, implementing measures to restrict access from unauthorized users. Client usernames and passwords are safeguarded through our encrypted LastPass Enterprise password vault. Unless otherwise specified, we deliver data and reports to clients via email. Additionally, we use HubDoc to securely receive essential bank and credit card statements for our work.

Most of our clients need a little bit of cleanup when they first join BBB, especially if books have been neglected. If that is the case, we will communicate with you about the estimated time for recommended cleanup. It is billed at an hourly rate.

If you desire CFO or Advisor services in addition to normal monthly accounting services, these are designed to be easily adjoined. In order for Advisory and CFO Services to be effective and informative, real-time data is NECESSARY. As such, our Advisor & CFO packages can only be added onto Premium Bookkeeping elections.
